Alan Alsop took his troops to Burwell Recreation Ground for the second time this season and again came away with a win.
With the reserves pool of players changing every week due to First Team players coming back from injury ,regular reserve squad members along with emerging Under 18s it is almost impossible to put out the same eleven two games running.
Luke Fretwell stood in between the sticks as Jake Alsop pulled out in the morning with a groin strain. Luke Mansfield also was a last minute loss due to work commitments
The side that Alsop did put out put in a great team performance and were well organised at the back with two make shift centre backs.and Ryan Lane playing in an unfamiliar role at full back. Luke Fretwell made one good save when the score was 2-1 to keep his side in front.
The midfield worked hard and made good positive forward runs that ultimately created a penalty won by Lewis Hook driving into box and the spot kick was converted by Andy George . Joe Peacock playing his first game since his injury that he picked up at Ipswich Wanderers got in needed minutes on the pitch and also got on the score sheet
Precious Oluka got the away sides third.
Overall a good team performance and a well deserved win
