Alan Alsop was pleased in how his newly formed side competed with high riding Hardwick from the Kershaw Premier..
He commented after the game' We started the game very positively and hit the bar and had a couple of chances. We then gifted them two goals will silly mistakes. We went in at half time 2-0 down against a good prolific scoring Premier side and thought it could be a backs to the wall job,but we worked hard and had more possession and created two excellent chances with their keeper making good saves in the second half . If taken it could have changed the outlook on the game as we limited them to a couple of chances by defending as a team very well. We played our passing game and was never overawed . So many positives than negatives from the afternoon '
