The Robins second string over came a difficult tie to Senior B side WSM Reserves to progress into the next round of the Cliff Bullen Challenge Cup on Saturday.
Tom Thulborn went close within 30 seconds of the start just with his shot just missing the far post . It did not take long before the away side were in front when a Matty Simpson screamer put his side ahead after only two minutes.
Jamie Hilton in midfield was causing the home side problems throughout the half with his energy and close control and chances were created and fell to a number of players without producing the final outcome.
The last 15 minutes of the half saw the game get a bit scrappy and with a minute of the half left the home side scored from a debatable offside position.
The second half saw the Robins take control with a more higher pressing game and quality on the ball and within ten minutes of the half saw them go 4-1 up with goals from Charlie McManus,CJ Lewis and captain Callum Butcher
The home did have a chance to claw one back when they were awarded a penatly for a foul by the very dependable Charlie Tunnell. Jordan Mitchell who had not had a great amount to do during the game produced a fine save to deny any panic in the last 15 minutes for his side .
