A disappointing afternoon all round with The Robins losing to a side who gained their first league away win of the season. Royston deserved the win by out fighting the home side in all areas of the ptich.
Losing 2-0 at half-time the home side did show a little bit more about them in the second half , but failed to create to many chances and on the counter attack went 3-0 mid way through the half.
The Robins did hit the woodwork in both half's and although a late Spencer Saberton header reduced the deficit, a missed penalty in the last minute by Jamie Simper summed by the home sides afternoon.
Not the display that Alan Alsop would have wanted going into their cup semi final next weekend with Comberton, but hopefully he will have available some of his regulars that have been with him all season
