Two new additions to the club

The club are pleased to annouce that Ryan Harnwell and Michael Harvey have put pen to paper to join the Robins.

If you were at the game last night against Soham Town Rangers there is no doubt that both signings will hopefully have a hugh impact on the Robins outcome this season.

Ryan is a former Cambridge United scholar who then played for Kings Lynn in 2017/18 making 15 starts and who also played at County Level. He was at Wisbech Town last season.

Ryan commented on his move to Downhams Road saying 'I am extremely excited about playing for Ely City and I will always do my best and give you 110% on and off the pitch. It seems a well organised club and I cant wait for the up coming season'

Michael Harvey is an experience player who spent eleven years at Mildenhall Town and then took some time out of the game. After a couple of games for local club Soham United he then last season played for Hadliegh United. 'Brady spoke to me a couple of weeks ago and asked me to come over. As soon as I met the lads I knew it was the right club to sign for. Some really good lads who to play for each other.Last nigh showed that .Hopefully this coming season we can push up the table and really compete'.

Manager Brady Stone was clearly pleased to have captured both players 'Ryan is a player we have been looking at for a while and the type of forward we have been missing. We are delighted to have him on board. Likewise as soon as we knew Harvs was available it was a no brainer. His experience at this level is second to none and can play anywhere on the park so again delighted to have him in the squad.
