Raising Funds for the Arthur Rank Hospice

On Thursday 25th July at 7:45pm sees the first ever match that will compete for the Unwin Trophy.

Our Under 18s side will play Long Melford Under 18s in a Pre-Season Charity Match in which all the proceeds will go to the Arthur Rank Hospice.

Entry is by donation with the trophy being kindly donated by 'Spotted in Ely' & the Match Ball sponsored by '3Q Sports'

Spotted in Ely commented;

"We are very pleased to able to purchase the new Unwin Trophy. Spotted in Ely Jobs had an excellent month in February and the proceeds from profit went to its purchase. We would like to thank Well Heeled for helping procure the trophy and Sew Much To Do for the decorations. We hope Ely City FC will enjoy the gift for years to come. It will be our pleasure to present it to the winning team on the night"

Ross Elliott & Nigel Smith commented ;

"As coaches of a non-league youth team we are always on the look out for sponsorship and funding throughout the season. We thought it would be nice to create an annual event which will be to the benefit of others in the community rather than ourselves. We are looking forward to the game and would like to thank Spotted in Ely for their donated trophy and 3Q Sports for the match ball. We would also like to thank Long Melford for accepting our invitation to play. We hope a big crowd will come and support everyone involved"

If any Companies would like to donate raffle prizes or provide any other sponsorship opportunities that would be most welcome.Please contact Ross Elliott at rosselliott2003@yahoo.com
