Brady Stone was pleased with the first pre season run out of 2017/18 . The match took the format of three 30 mins half which gave all the players a good amount of match time to start the season

The squad included five trialists Nick Heap,Adam Capel,Neo Victor Dju,Franck Mvogo and former Robins favourite Josh Sewell

The first 30 minutes saw the side mostly maintain possession and had one real shot in anger from Franck Mvogo.

The second peirod saw the Robins take the lead when a long Dom Hunt throw-in was headed home by Josh Sewell. It was 2-0 shortly afterwards when a cross from the left from Nick Heap was headed home by last years top goalscorer Alex Theobald

Theobald made in 3-0 in the third period after following up his own initial shot . A swift counter attack towards the end of the game found Daniel Jeffrey on the left who played in Adam Capel who calmly slotted home to finish off the scoring

All in all a good run out and now on to Linton Granta on Tuesday night
